Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Unique Opportunity to Contribute to Archdiocese of Bangalore Initiatives
We may all be aware of CSR initiatives sponsored by Corporates. It is said that Corporates are typically expected to spend around 2% of their average net profit on CSR activities that basically target on having an impact on social, environmental and economic conditions of our society.
Our Bishop, Most Rev. Peter Machado has requested that we try and harness some of these funds by approaching the CSR Team in our organizations and seek their support.

About Us
Uttara Kannada Konkani Catholic Association (Reg.No. DRO/SJN/SOR/104/12-13) UKKCA.
The Aims and Objectives with which we started the UKKCA Community on 10th October 2010 (10-10-2010) were :
+ To foster among all the members of the Association, the spirit Christian life, service discipline, unity and co-operation.
+ To take all steps necessary for the welfare and advancement of the Members of the Association in the matter of Economic, Educational, Social and Cultural aspects.
+ To advance literacy and general education among the members of the Association as it thinks fit.
+ To assist Members of the Association and their families by all lawful means in their social and economic hardships and difficulties and strive for their upliftment.
+ To arrange and provide educational facilities to deserving children of the members of the Association.
+ To render financial assistance by way of scholarships to the deserving children of the members of the Association and to represent the difficulties experienced by the Members of the Association to the respective Governments and try to solve them.
+ To promote the art of music, drama, fine arts, literature and culture in general.

Membership
The Association offers three types of Membership:
1. Patron : Persons paying a lump sum of 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) will be eligible to become Executive Members of the Association;
2. Life Member : Persons paying a lump sum of 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) will be eligible to become a life member of the Association;
3. Ordinary Member : Persons paying sum of 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in two installments will become an Ordinary Member of the Association.
All Members whose names appear in the list of members of the Assocation shall have the right to participate and vote in all meetings including the General Body of the Assocation. Any person who has not paid the full membership fee will not have the right to vote in the General Body or any Meeting of the Association.
A person willing to be a member of the association can pay the amount in terms of CASH or CHEQUE.
In case of CHEQUE, the cheque should be given in the name of UKKCA.
